Burcu Uyar just sang the part of Fiakermilli from Arabella at the Deutsche Oper Berlin during a busy season in which she has also sung the title-roles of Traviata and Lucia di Lammermoor as well as a highly praised Manon in Angers-Nantes. Next season in the same theatre, she will sing Queen of the night, Constance in Dialogue des Carmélites and at the Marseille Opera, Donna Anna from Don Giovanni.
 
Gabrielle Philiponet will sing her first Suzanne at the Lorraine National Opera and la Speranza from Orfeo, while Christina Dietzsch is awaited in Liszt's Legend of Saint Elisabeth in Avignon in the beginning of 2011

Ekaterina Godovanets will be Tatiana on tour with the Fribourg Opera from November. She will also sing the role of Ghita in Zemlinsky's Der Zwerg under the baton of V. Yurovsky in October 2010 in Moscow.

The young and talented Spanish mezzo-soprano Carol Garcia is currently a member of the Paris Opera Atelier Lyrique (Studio). She will sing Adonella from Francesca da Rimini in Paris in January and will then take the role of Zulma in L'Italienne à Alger in Nancy.

Guylaine Girard has been a beautiful Mimi in Monte Carlo, a part she will sing again with the Royal Opera of Wallonia (Liège) next October.

Our bass-baritone Christian Helmer is also part of the cast as Schaunard. Later on, he is expected as Carmen's Zuniga in Avignon and Reims, Colline in Limoges, Fiorello from il Barbiere di Siviglia at the Châtelet Theatre. Last but not least, he will make his début at the Opéra Bastille as Armantio di Nicolao in Gianni Schicchi.

Currently a member of the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel in Brussels, Sébastien Parotte will sing Mahler's Das Klagende Lied at La Monnaie in February, and will be Cenerentola's Don Magnifico at Linz Landes Theatre next spring.
As well as her first Carmen at the Reims Theater, Julie Robard-Gendre is to sing Périchole in Metz, the Page from Rigoletto at the Chorégies d'Orange and Giulietta from The Hoffmann Tales in Massy. She will then be Siebel in Faust at the Tours Theatre.
After a highly praised Fée in the production of Cendrillon in Marseille and her participation in l'Enfant et les sortilèges, a production of the Lausanne Opera, Liliana Faraon is to sing Bianca from La Rondine in Toulon next season. After this season's production in Mérignac, she will be Così fan tutte's Despina again with the Auvergne Lyrical Centre in Spain with Teresa Berganza.

Marc Scoffoni will be on tour again with the part of Gaspard from Donizetti's Rita in Rennes. Later on, he will be Buff in Mozart's Schauspieldirektor in the same theatre. He will also play Dancaire in a tour of Carmen in open air Operas.
After highly regarded performances as Baron Gondremarck in La vie Parisienne, Peter Edelmann is expected again at the Lorraine National Opera as La Veuve Joyeuse's Baron Popoff next December.

After an excellent reception in Toulon in the role of the Count in The Marriage of Figaro, Roberto Tagliavini is to make his Spanish debut in Madrid in the role of Gualtiero des Puritans before taking the role of Ferrando in Il Trovatore in Verona this summer. He can also be heard in Palermo as Don Basilio before his appearance as Montano in the Paris Opera's production of Otello alongside Renée Fleming.

Inva Mula is preparing to take the role of Amelia in Simon Boccanegra in Madrid, under the baton of Jesus Lopez-Cobos. She can also be heard as Nedda in Pagliacci in Liceu Barcelona, Mimi in Wien and she will sing her first Marenka from Smetana's The Bartered Bride.

After his debut at the NY Metropolitan Opera as Zarastro, Hans Peter König can be heard in Munich in the role of Landgraf Hermann from Tannhauser before returning to the Met for Fafner and Hunding. He will make his anticipated Parisian debut in the role of Hagen next spring.

Reinhard Hagen is to sing Fasolt and Hunding at the Deutsche Oper Berlin, as well as Narbal (Les Troyens) next season, Hermann in Tannhäuser and Timur (Turandot ) in San Diego.

Nicole Piccolomini can still be heard in the Ring at the Paris National Opera, where she is to sing Walküre's Grimgerde at the end of this season, then in April 2011 at Berlin Staatsoper Unter den Linden (in coproduction with Teatro alla Scala). She will sing First Norn and Flosshilde in Götterdämmerung next June in Paris.

The tenor/haute-contre Karim Sulayman has recently entrusted us to represent him in France. He is currently singing the role of Lope Tocho in Philidor's Sancho Pança at Lafayette in Washington and will soon be A Midsummer Night's Dream's Puck in Boston.
Kobie Van Rensburg is singing Ubaldo in Armida at the New York Met, where he will be back next spring with the same role.
The young tenor Xin Wang can be applauded on stage at the Bordeaux National Opera in March and May 2011, respectively as Ariadne auf Naxos ' Brighella and as La Belle Hélène's Achille.

Mario Zhang will take the role of Don Alvaro (La forza del destino) this coming summer in Schwerin.

One could recently hear Laura Polverelli in duet with Patrizia Ciofi in the programme 'Les reines du Bel Canto' at the Basilica of Saint Denis. This excellent artist will next be found in the role of Giulietta in Salzburg under the baton of Riccardo Muti and as Maffio Orsini in Lucrezia Borgia in Vienna.
Peter Bronder recently played the part of Herod in the production of Salomé in Madrid. Next season he will play Monostatos and Valzacchi at La Scala.

Russell Braun will be Mercutio at La Scala and in Salzburg and will play the roles of Olivier (Capriccio) and Chou en Lai (Nixon in China) at the Met.

Maurizio Arena will conduct the production of Adriana Lecouvreur in Rome whilst Steuart Bedford will conduct the production of A Midsummer Nights Dream at Garsington and Death in Venice in Toronto.
Petrika Ionesco will stage Boris Godounov (created in Liège) and will return once more to Cyrano de Bergerac, originally created for Châtelet, to take it to San Francisco.
