Alexander KISSELEV

The Russian bass Alexander Kisselev is familiar to major international opera houses where he starred not only in the Russian but also in the Italian repertoire.

He sang Alvise (La Gioconda) in the Great Hall of the Moscow Conservatory, Boris in Boris Godunov at the Deutsche Oper Berlin and at the Helikon, Pimen in Boris Godunov at the Bolshoi Theatre, La Monnaie and Trieste, Prince Khovansky (Khovanshchina) and Gremin (Eugene Onegin) at the Bolshoi and Zaccaria (Nacucco) at the Bolshoi and at the Mariinsky.

He has just made his debut as Arkel (Pelléas et Mélisande) at the Mariinsky under the baton of Valery Gergiev.
