Student of Carlo Bergonzi and Mirella Freni, he made his debut as Don José (Carmen) in autumn 2008 in various theatres of Northern Italy (Bergamo, Cremano, Brescia, Como, Pavia...) This debut got him a warm welcome by the press and the public and he therefore got rehired as Canio (Pagliacci).
