
To start the year brilliantly, our agency welcomes a new artist who is nobody less than the great June Anderson. Huge versatility of an artist capable of singing everything, from bel canto to the contemporary repertory. After Salomé in French in Liège, she will be Pat Nixon in John Adam’s French creation of Nixon in China, at the Châtelet next April before portraying Manon in Liège in June 2012.

After singing Marguerite in Bastille’s controversial production of Faust and a most acclaimed Thaïs at the Avignon Opera House – a theater that is very close to her heart– Inva Mula will retun to Marguerite alongside Jonas Kaufmann at the Vienna State Opera next February before returning to one of her signature role, Mimi at the Liceu.

After her performance of Ernani’s Elvira in Tel Aviv last season Michèle Crider will return to this theatre with Tosca this month, before singing Leonora (Il trovatore) and Desdemona next summer in Soloturn.

Jana Dolezilkova will make her French debut in Tours as Lady Macbeth conducted by Jean-Yves Ossonce next May.

After being Marguerite (Faust) at the Liceu Guylaine Girard sings this role again next spring at the Grand Théâtre in Reims.

Ekaterina Godovanets will sing her first Marschallin at the Bolchoï under the baton of Vassili Sinaïsky next April before making her debut at the Staatstheater Nürnberg as Leonora
(Il Trovatore). She will perform Onegin’s Tatiana at the Massy Opera House as well as on tour with the production of Opera Eclaté.

After her performance of the opera Partenope’s title role for the Haendel Festival of Karlsruhe, Polina Pasztircsák is currently singing Mimi in Budapest. She will make her French debut at the Rouen Opera House with Missa Solemnis in January 2012
Acclaimed in Nancy as Suzanna and in Montpellier as Azema (Semiramis), Gabrielle Philiponet was very well praised as Musetta in the Bohème production from the Marseille Opera House during this holiday season. She will make her highly anticipated debut as Magda in Nancy’s production of Rondine staged and conducted by José Cura next spring.
After her great success as Zerlina in Marseille’s production of Don Giovanni, Emilie Pictet has been acclaimed as Metella (La vie parisienne) in Nantes and in Angers during the holiday season.

Ruth Ziesak will perform the Missa Solemnis in Los Angeles conducted by Herbert Blomstedt next April. She will carry on her season with The Pilgrimage of the Rose (Robert Schumann) at the Cité de la Musique conducted by Michel Tabachnik next May.

This year, three mezzo-sopranos join us.
Among them, the young Giuseppina Bridelli who won the As.li.co Competition at only 21 years old (singing Despina) and triumphed as Fidalma (Il matrimonio segreto) at the Stresa Festival in 2010 and as Zerlina (Don Giovanni) in 2011. In 2012, she will be Ottavia and Virtu (Incoronazione di Poppea) at the Innsbruck Festival.

Laureate of the Cardiff singer of the World competition, the Irish mezzo soprano Máire Flavin has recently performed the Public Opinion in Orphée aux enfers at the Scottish Opera of Glasgow. She will be Musetta in La Boheme at the National Concert Hall next May.

Atala Schöck is currently performing the Muse/Nicklause in Les Contes d’Hoffmann at the Prague National theatre. She will then be Cherubino in Budapest, conducted by Iván Fischer.

Having sung the part of Mrs Grose in The Turn of the Screw at the Rouen Opera House, Albane Carrere will return to this theatre for the world premiere of “Ne criez pas au loup” and will be Flora in the production of La Traviata at the Opera Royal de Versailles.

As a member of the company of the Semperoper of Dresden, Gala El Hadidi has just performed the role of Hänsel. She is going to be the Second Lady in their Magic Flute production and Maddalenna in Rigoletto.

Mickael Spadaccini, who sung Turiddu in Cavalleria Rusticana at the Teatro del Giglio in Lucca and Don José at the Teatro Lirico de Cagliari, is currently the Chevalier des Grieux from Manon Lescaut until May 2012 at the Tallinn Opera House. He will perform the role of Ruggero in Nancy’s production of La Rondine staged and conducted by Jose Cura.

Xin Wang will return to the Grand Theatre de Bordeaux as Malcolm (Macbeth) before being Prunier in the Nancy’s production of La Rondine.

Russell Braun is currently singing Valentin (Faust) at the Metropolitan Opera. He will then be Jaufré Rudel (L’amour de loin), Saariaho in Toronto and before taking on the part of Lescaut (Manon) at La Scala next summer.

Michael Nagy was Wolfram von Eschenbach in the Bayreuth Festival production of Tannhäuser conducted by Thomas Hengelbrock last summer and Roberto in La finta giardiniera at the Teatro Real last autumn. Next May, he will be Friedrich in the Frankfurt Opera House production of Das Liebesverbot and will sing Wolfram von Eschenbach in Bayreuth next summer.

After having performed Papagenoand Marcello at the Grand Theatre de Geneve where he is part of the company, Marc Scoffoni will take part in the production of Julietta (Martinu) next February. In May, he will be Rambaldoin Nancy’s production of La Rondine.

Christian Helmer will again sing the part of Orbazzano (Tancredi) under the baton of Jean-Claude Malgoire at the Théâtre Royal de Versailles before making his Spanish debut at the Teatro Real of Madrid in Petrika Ionesco’s production of Cyrano de Bergerac alongside Placido Domingo.

After having sung the part of Sarastro in Oviedo in November 2011, Mika Kares sang Truffaldino (Ariadne auf Naxos) at the Palau del los Artes in Valencia. Next March, he will sing Landgraf Hermann at the Tampere Opera House in Finland, Raimondo Bidebent in Enschede . He will then be Fafner in Valencia and at the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino under the baton of Zubin Mehta.

Maurizio Lo Piccolo, who has just joined the agency as well, was the Doctor Grenvil at the Aix-en-Provence Festival in July 2011 and then Don Basilio at the Opera de Massy in December 2011. He is currently performing Doctor Grenvil at the Opéra de Dijon.
And… last but not least …
Julien Véronèse, baritone-basse, has just been nominated Révélation Lyrique des Victoires de la Musique 2012.
